Is it true that the book from the Bible Revelations is actually based on an Egyptian thing?
No – hadn’t heard that before. Revelations is an example of apocalyptic writing which was very popular at the time. The early church picked this one out for some reason to make part of the bible – but there’s plenty of these crazy stories laying around which didn’t make it into the bible.
